We’ve all heard our fair share of discouraging words. Even so, that doesn’t mean we should give up on our goals, especially if they are personal. That was the case for Gwendoline Christie. Christie had aspired to be an actress since she was a child. The thing is, she was told she wasn’t cut out for that career path because she was too tall.

By the looks of things, that person is completely incorrect. Christie, to her credit, has made a name for herself in the public eye today. She also claims to be one of the industry’s tallest actresses, standing 6′ 3″ tall. Christie began her career as a stage actress before moving on to more on-screen roles. She has since become best known for her portrayal of Brienne of Tarth in the fantasy series Game of Thrones.
