Kate Grigorieva’s height of 5 feet 11 inches helped her become a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 2015 to 2016. But, early in her modeling career, she participated in the Miss Russia casting in 2010. Unfortunately, she did not qualify as a contestant. She didn’t give up hope and entered the same competition two years later. She was one of the top ten finalists this time. That same year, she appeared in Top Model po-russki, a Russian adaptation of America’s Next Top Model.

Following the competition, she was signed with the modeling agency The Lions, which led to her runway debut in 2014 at New York Fashion Week, where she opened for Donna Karan as a semi-exclusive and walked for Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, and Oscar de la Renta. Top modeling sites named Grigorieva one of the top newcomers of the Fall/Winter 2014 season, and she has since walked the runways for Versace, Gucci, Nina Ricci, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, and many others — a wise investment for her career.
