Karolina Kurkova was teased as a teenager because of her height. However, after her friends sent photos of her to a modeling agency in Prague, she landed a runway appearance as well as jobs in print and commercial advertising at the age of 15. She later relocated to Milan and signed with Miuccia Prada. By the age of 16, Kurkova had been chosen to appear in Victoria’s Secret’s 2000 fashion show webcast. With a height of 5 feet 11 inches and a beautiful face, other major fashion houses, including Tommy Hilfiger, Versace, Boss, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and many others, signed the model to contracts. Kurkova had no need for money loans at any time in her life.

Kurkova moved from modeling to acting as her fame grew throughout her career, making her film debut in the 2007 coming-of-age film My Sexiest Year. Her new career took off after that, and she went on to star in the live-action film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, as well as serve as a guest judge on Germany’s Next Top Model and America’s Next Top Model.
