Kimora Lee Simmons | 6’0″

Kimora Lee Simmons is an American model and television personality who was teased as a child because of her height, standing at 6 feet at the age of ten. As a result, Simmons’ mother enrolled her in a modeling class when she was 11 years old in order to boost her confidence. It eventually paid off. Under Karl Lagerfeld’s tutelage, Simmons signed a modeling contract with Chanel. The model played an important role in the latter’s creative vision and call for racial inclusion in the fashion industry. Simmons rose to prominence in the modeling world after closing Karl Lagerfeld’s haute couture show in 1989.

The model made her television debut in 1998, hosting One World Music Beat. She went on to host other shows in the years that followed, including Life and Style, Uncut New York Fashion Week, and Party Fabulous. In addition, Simmons served as a judge on the first season of America’s Next Top Model. She also made an investment in the women’s clothing line Baby Phat.
