Lais Ribeiro, who stands 6 feet 1 inch tall, trained to be a nurse before becoming a model. However, a year after giving birth to her son, Alexandre, she began working as a model in Brazil on the advice of a friend. She walked the major international runways for Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Dior, Marc Jacobs, DKNY, and many other designers. Ribeiro was the most-booked model during Brazil’s fashion week for Spring/Summer 2011 collections, with 26 shows during Rio Fashion Week and 27 during Sao Paulo Fashion Week—excellent career investment planning.

Ribeiro has also modeled for Tom Ford, Gap, American Eagle, Ralph Lauren, and Christian Dior. In 2015, she was chosen as a Victoria’s Secret Angel to wear the $2 million Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra during the latter’s 2017 fashion show in Shanghai, China.
