In more recent years, producers and studios have spent significant portions of investment money adapting comic book movies. Among all these ventures, though, the one franchise that’s often cited as one of the most successful would undoubtedly be the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The MCU has brought numerous stars to the spotlight, one of which is Captain America actor Chris Evans.

Besides donning the superhero costume and shield, Evans has also garnered widespread recognition for starring in films such as Snowpiercer, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Knives Out, and Gifted. He has also had a relationship with other star-studded figures, including Minka Kelly and Jessica Biel. He’s currently living the single life, but there’s no denying that he’s pretty contented. While working on Gifted, the Avengers star met one of his greatest friends: a dog named Dodger, whom he met at an animal shelter.
