The British-American actress Mischa Barton started her career with an appearance in Tony Kushner’s Slavs! She made her screen debut with a guest appearance in the American soap opera All My Children. Aside from that, the 36-year-old star also made a voice-over in the Nickelodeon cartoon series KaBlam! In addition to her acting career, she also appeared in many TV commercials and print ad campaigns and modeled for clothing brands like Calvin Klein, Aeropostale, and many more.

In 2009, Barton had admitted that she’s not a huge fan of marriage as it puts tremendous pressure on the relationship. She believes that it’ll eventually lead to breaking up because the people involved don’t feel the need to work at the intimacy anymore. Before marriage, people try harder until they’re married. Eventually, the relationship fell apart, she added. However, Barton said she would decide to settle down eventually. It needs stable emotional investment for a relationship to work.
