The year is 1999, and from Sydney to San Diego, there is only one slick-haired, chiseled-jawed kid glued to the wall of teenage girls: Freddie Prinze Jr. This sums up the appeal of the Los Angeles-born actor, who is riding high on the success of Scooby-Doo and She’s All That. Prinze Jr.’s distinct charm, which was equal parts gregariousness and good boy spirit, was weaponized in the film.

He married Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar, a fellow actor. They have been married for almost two decades, and it seems that we won’t ever be hearing about them calling their lawyers. After nine seasons, Anderson left Hollywood for good once the original series ended in 2002. Many will remember James Van Der Beek as Dawson Leery in the hit the late 1990s to early 2000s series Dawson’s Creek. He also played the role of Johnny “Mox” Moxon in Varsity Blues. From there, the now-45-year-old star has made several TV and movie credits, including Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt 23, CSI: Cyber, The Rules of Attraction, One Tree Hill, Friends With Better Lives, and Pose.

However, there are questions as to where Van Der Beek is today. Per his IMDb profile page, he has no new projects coming up after his last TV series Vampirina. However, the latest news about him is that he has moved to Texas with his family, leaving Hollywood behind. Though there are no reasons why he did, it looks like Van Der Beek and his family are very happy with that decision.
