It’s quite impressive how many of the stars we know today began their careers during their childhood. Well, here’s another star-studded figure for us to talk about. Even when she was just a kid, Christina Aguilera aspired to be a singer and eventually took credit for being her neighborhood’s “little girl with a big voice.” At around ten years old, she landed the chance to showcase more of her musically-gifted talents and competed in Star Search.

Her next big shot to fame came a few years later when she landed a spot on The Mickey Mouse Club. Since then, she has starred in other projects such as Nashville, Zoe, and Burlesque. Even so, there’s no denying she’s now most recognized as a singer, thanks to her hit records like Beautiful, Genie in a Bottle, and Can’t Hold Us Down. Plus, she had a five-year coaching stint on the talent show competition, The Voice.
