Claire Danes has been a fixture on the big and small screens since 1990, when she made her first role in the short film Dreams of Love. Signifying that she was a rising star, she appeared in Law & Order just a few years later, and the young starlet broke out significant time credits to the beloved, short-lived teen dramedy My So-Called Life just a few years later. However, she made her name as Beth March in Little Women the same year the show premiered.

Although Danes began her career as a child actress, the New York native has had a successful adult career that she is now more known for her appearances in small films and blockbusters alike.
