Devon Sawa | 43 Years Old

Devon Sawa was a teen star for a while, but he’s faded from view. He rose to prominence as a child, starring in the 1995 movies Casper and Now and Then, two films that are fondly remembered by many. Sawa built a degree for himself in the horror genre in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with roles in Final Destination and the horror-comedy Idle Hands. He seemed to be on the brink of something spectacular.

He grew tired of Hollywood about the same time and decided to take a five-year break from acting. Sawa’s comeback to acting was prompted by chance when someone from his former agent’s office approached him regarding a part. He didn’t get the role, but he was shortly cast as Sam Matthews in Nikita. Since then, Sawa has appeared in the ABC drama Somewhere Between, Escape Plan 3, and The Fanatic.
